The mobile air defense system "HUNTER" is designed to protect key energy and military facilities from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of any type, both tactical and strategic.
The drone detection range is 3 kilometers.
Effective target engagement range: vertically – up to 1.5 kilometers, horizontally – up to 2.5 kilometers.
This complex is built on the basis of an improved armored reconnaissance and patrol vehicle BRDM-2, which has undergone significant modernization of the power plant and transmission. The ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun is used as the main armament. The guidance system is equipped with an advanced thermal imager and a camera capable of providing 32x optical zoom. This allows for effective observation both day and night, regardless of weather conditions. The crew of the vehicle consists of three people: a mechanic-driver responsible for driving, a gunner-operator controlling the armament, and a commander of the combat vehicle.
