Almost 1000 "Veterok" fiber optic drones delivered to the Russian military

The drone hits targets at a distance of up to 25 kilometers

Specialists from the FPV Association have developed the "Veterok" fiber optic drone. About a thousand of these drones of various modifications have been sent to the troops.

During combat use, a BMP of the enemy was hit at a distance of 25 kilometers by a fiber optic drone.

It is known that during the first tests of the "Veterok", there were only 7 breaks per 100 coils of optical fiber with which the drones were launched. The 13-inch drone carries up to 7 kg of payload. In addition, it is equipped with 2 batteries.

The UAV is designed for:

  • destruction of enemy equipment
  • delivery of goods
  • mining of territories
