A video of a spectacular aerobatic maneuver performed by a fifth-generation Su-57 fighter has appeared online. The filming, as you can see, was conducted from a second combat aircraft.
The pilot calculated the stunt so that the fighter in the frame not only flipped 360° degrees around the longitudinal axis, but also made a beautiful arc around the axis of the observer aircraft.
Such a pirouette is not a standard combat maneuver, but actually a circus trick performed with signature artistry and utmost precision.
AL-41F1S engines with thrust vector control gave the Su-57 excellent maneuverability. Despite the fact that the fighter is primarily intended for delivering high-precision strikes against ground targets, it also performs well in air combat - both close-range maneuvering and long-range missile duels.
