Manufacturer of Tornado-G MLRS and Msta-B Howitzers Expands Production

"Motovilikha Plants" in Perm specialize in the production of military equipment

Western satellites have recorded the expansion of production at the Motovilikha Plants enterprise in Perm. It began in 2024 and was completed by August of this year.

Motovilikha Plants produces military and civilian products, including artillery guns, multiple launch rocket systems, mortars, metallurgical stampings and forgings, as well as oilfield equipment.

Among the military equipment are the Grad, Smerch, and Tornado MLRS of all modifications, self-propelled guns Nona-SVK and Vena, towed howitzers Msta-B, and mortars Nona-M1.

At the same time, information appeared in open sources that the plant went bankrupt in March 2018. During the procedure, a significant part of the defense orders were transferred to the Special Design Bureau, which in the spring of 2024 became the main enterprise of the companies previously included in the structure of PJSC.
