The "Sferum" educational platform has implemented a "safe mode" function in the Max messenger, aimed at protecting schoolchildren's data. This is reported by the VK press service.
With the start of the new academic year, "Safe Mode" will be automatically activated for users with the "student" role. The innovation will increase the safety of communication and protect children from unwanted contacts.
"Safe Mode" includes default privacy settings - "Contacts". This means that a user can only be found by those who have their contact in the secure messenger. Schoolchildren will only be able to communicate with classmates and teachers, as well as with verified school contacts.
"Safe Mode" also allows you to hide your profile from phone number search, block calls, and disable invitations to chats from strangers.
In August, the Ministry of Education announced the successful integration of "Sferum" into MAX. From the new academic year, the educational space will gradually become available to users.
In March, VK launched a beta version of the Max messenger, which allows you to chat, make calls, and send files up to four gigabytes. The platform can be downloaded from the App Store, RuStore, and Google Play.
