The Automotive Technologies plant in Kaluga has produced the 1000th body of the Haval M6 crossover using full-cycle technology. The assembly process started on July 28, 2025, and the company needed just over a month to reach this volume.
Production of Haval M6 crossovers using the CKD (complete knock-down) method began at the PSMA Rus plant in the Kaluga region. According to the press service of Automotive Technologies, this became possible five months after the launch of contract SKD assembly of this model. The company introduced an analogue of the flow management system, adapted the component base for mass production, and applied the experience of foreign colleagues to adjust the body geometry.
A new supplier of materials was selected for the preparation of bodies, including compounds for cataphoretic coating, primer, base coat, varnish, as well as anti-gravel and sealing mastics. These changes made it possible to optimize the production process and ensure stable quality.
The PSMA Rus plant in Kaluga has been operating since 2010 and specializes in the production of cars of various brands.
