Samara-based company UEC-Kuznetsov (part of Rostec) will produce 600 RD-107A engines for the Soyuz family of launch vehicles over the next seven years. This was announced by the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov.
According to him, the RD-107A is the most demanded engine for the Soyuz-2.1. In total, 10,000 units have been produced in the history of the enterprise.

About the RD-107 engine
The RD-107A/108A liquid-propellant rocket engine was developed and is manufactured at UEC-Kuznetsov. The unit has been mass-produced in Samara for over 50 years. In 2024 alone, Russia launched 15 rockets with RD-107A/108A engines into space.
