Historical photo of Pantsir anti-aircraft missile system published

The experienced model of the complex was first shown at MAKS-95

The Russian anti-aircraft missile and gun system (ZRPK) "Pantsir-S1", which was presented publicly for the first time in 2007, was shown in the photo. The historical snapshot was shown by the Telegram channel "Vestnik PVO".

The photo shows the "Pantsir-S1", presented during the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2007 in August.

The complex was equipped with a new multifunctional target tracking radar, which increased the number of targets engaged simultaneously. An experienced model of the basic "Pantsir" was shown at MAKS-95.

The ZRPK "Pantsir-S1" is designed for close cover of civil and military facilities from air attack weapons. The complex carries two 30 mm cannons and 12 anti-aircraft missiles.
