Sinara plans to make Lastochka trains completely Russian — to remove German control systems. This was announced by the holding's CEO, Viktor Lesh.
We are talking about various internal control systems in the train, and we are ready to supply our Russian solutions to the trains already on the network. We have already "practiced" with some diagnostic models in the Sapsan and demonstrated the success of our developments.
According to the head of the holding, when Lastochka trains need modernization, they will immediately be transferred to domestic systems.
Lastochka is a high-speed electric train with asynchronous traction motors. It was produced by the enterprise at Ural Locomotives in cooperation with the German concern Siemens. The latter left Russia in 2022.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Lastochka was put on test runs between Moscow and Voronezh.
