With two 350-liter fuel tanks: Zvezda company releases the first Arctic amphibious bus

Zvezda T24 has buoyant properties due to its boat-frame

The company "Zvezda" presented the all-terrain amphibious vehicle "Zvezda T24". The all-terrain vehicle has buoyant properties not due to its tires, but thanks to its boat-frame. "Zvezda T24" is able to swim against the current at a speed of up to 25 km/h. On land, the car accelerates to 80 km/h.

The all-terrain vehicle accommodates up to 28 passengers and is equipped with luggage racks. It is capable of operating at temperatures down to −60 °C. High cross-country ability is provided by low-pressure tires.

The car is 100% assembled from domestic components and has been tested in the swampy area of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Under the hood is a YaMZ-534 diesel engine.

The company is ready for mass production of 50 vehicles per year. Modifications are provided for ambulances and cardiac resuscitation.
