"Kalashnikov" announced the launch of new drones. The concern has entered into a cooperation agreement with the developer of FPV drones - the company "Archangel".

Under the signed memorandum, "Archangel" will be engaged in the selection of the best technological solutions from the people's military-industrial complex, as well as conducting their testing and combat tests. "Kalashnikov" will provide the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

In addition, the concern, together with "Archangel", plans to train operators to work with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the "Kalashnikov" concern and UAVs of other manufacturers, as well as instructor staff.

The "Archangel" project has been conducted by a group of enthusiasts since 2022, and the project centers are located in different cities of Russia. According to the developers, in 2023, all the documents necessary for production and a list of spare parts will be provided to trusted partner teams for the production of drones. Project participants also intend to create a warehouse of the most popular components, and the main coordination will be carried out from Moscow, Crimea and the Zaporozhye region.

In April 2025, Archangel specialists presented the drone of the same name, which develops a speed of up to 280 km/h and is capable of hitting various objects at a distance of up to 50 km. In June, successful tests of the new development in Crimea were also reported.
