Electronic component weighing 2.2 grams will last at least 30 years

From January to June 2025, RT-Capital (part of Rostec) doubled the production of ultra-reliable relays. These electronic components are used in rockets, satellites, military equipment, ships, and power systems.

RT-Capital produces over 50 types of relays, including one of the smallest in the world, weighing 2.2 g. It operates at temperatures from –60 °C to +125 °C. The product warranty is up to 30 years.

Each relay undergoes hundreds of checks, with a defect rate of 0%. In addition, the company conducts more than 4 billion measurements per year to ensure that the products are reliable.
