Preparatory work for the reconstruction, which includes the relocation of engineering networks, has begun at the Vladimir (Semyazino) airport. The project documentation for these works received a positive conclusion from the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia.
The first stage involves the relocation of a 720 mm diameter gas pipeline, a 450 mm diameter water pipeline, and a 10 kV overhead power line. The overhead power line will be replaced with an underground cable line. For this purpose, the existing wires and reinforced concrete supports are being dismantled on a 1040-meter long section.
To prepare the site for the development of airfield infrastructure, it is planned to relocate engineering communications, including a 720 mm diameter gas pipeline, as well as a 450 mm diameter water pipeline. In addition, it is necessary to rearrange the 10 kV overhead power line.
One of the main goals of the entire airport reconstruction is to lengthen the runway by almost 400 meters. This will allow the air harbor to receive modern types of aircraft, including long-haul airliners.
The developer of the works is the State Budget Institution of the Vladimir Region "Vladimir Base of Aviation Forest Protection." The general designer is JSC Dorozhno-Stroitelnaya Kompaniya "Avtoban". Vladimir Airport, founded in 1946, is located 8 km from the city center.
