The Telegram channel "Military Informant" reported that a T-55 tank, removed from storage, has entered service with the Russian army. The footage went viral on social networks.
In the video, you can see the armored vehicle reversing off a low-loader trailer. Apparently, the tank still needs to be equipped with "mangal" grills and other protective elements that are so necessary in modern combat.
Т-55 is a medium tank developed on the basis of the Т-54. The combat vehicle differs from its predecessor by an increased ammunition load, a more powerful engine, an expanded fuel system, improved night vision devices, and thermal smoke equipment. It is unknown what exactly from the list will remain on the vehicle in the end.
