Parental Control: 2GIS Launches "Child Profile" with Notifications About Child's Route

The new feature will allow you to view the child's movement history and will notify you about the phone's battery level

Geolocation service 2GIS has updated its maps, adding the "child profile" feature. This innovation will give parents the opportunity to receive notifications about the places their child has visited, and will soon allow them to view the history of their daily routes. This profile expands the functionality of the existing "Friends on the Map" option.

Parents will be able to track the child's location on the map using a special icon. The application will allow them to see where the child is currently located, receive notifications when he or she arrives at certain places or makes new friends. In addition, parents will know the battery level of the child's phone and will receive a notification if geolocation is disabled or the phone is turned off.

The movement tracking functionality has not yet been implemented, but is expected in the near future. The developers emphasized that in normal mode, geolocation is hidden from other friends, and the movement history will be visible exclusively to parents. These settings are permanent and cannot be changed accidentally.
