Tanks have become an effective element of an effective reconnaissance and fire loop, occupying a niche in range between anti-tank missile systems (ATGM) and barrel artillery, the Rostec state corporation said.
The company noted that tanks are currently used as a universal fire weapon. They successfully carry out combat missions both from closed positions and on the front lines.
In the first case, tanks demonstrate good operational effectiveness in engaging targets in cooperation with UAVs.
In fact, this is a new effective reconnaissance and fire loop, occupying a niche in range between ATGMs and barrel artillery.
This effect is achieved due to the accuracy of the guns and a high-quality fire control system, which provides sighting at enemy targets. Often a couple of shots are enough to hit the target, Rostec explained.
