Купольная связь для БПЛА: компания «Гонец» представила новое оборудование для беспилотных авиасистем

Initial tests showed that the system stably transmits data to mobile and stationary objects within the radio visibility zone

The company JSC "Satellite System "Gonets"" (part of Roscosmos) demonstrated new communication equipment for unmanned aerial systems at the International Forum "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future." The event took place from August 14 to 17 at the Skolkovo Innovation Center.

Gonets satellite communication terminal and small-sized Gonets satellite modem

At the exhibition, the company presented a small-sized satellite modem weighing 90 grams and a communication terminal of the Gonets system. In the summer of 2024, with the help of this modem, the flight track and control commands of the drone were transmitted via satellite channels for the first time in Russia.

The equipment is designed for the "cupola communication" solution, which creates a local communication coverage area. The technology is currently being tested in conjunction with partners. Initial tests showed that the system stably transmits data to mobile and stationary objects within the radio visibility zone. The solution can be used in search and rescue operations, work in remote areas, and for communication with unmanned transport.
