The Rosel holding (part of Rostec) has completed testing of the first fully Russian compact power supply for telecommunications equipment, the company's press service reported.
The device features high efficiency and a modular design. This ensures its uninterrupted operation. Mass production of the new power supplies will begin this year.
The new product is based on the universal digital hardware and software platform "Titan" and comes in several modifications depending on the power output. The efficiency of the products is 89%. This corresponds to the Platinum energy efficiency class of the international 80 PLUS standard — one of the highest levels in the energy efficiency assessment system.
The power supplies provide power to server equipment without stopping, shutting down, or restarting the system. They are equipped with two modules operating in parallel and have protection against overcurrent and short circuits.
The control unit monitors the load balance between them. In the event of a failure of one of the components, its functionality is completely transferred to the working module, which continues to power the system in full.
In real time, the device transmits information to the administrator about the temperature of critical components, overloads, voltage changes in the network, and other parameters, which allows for comprehensive monitoring of the device's condition and prevention of possible malfunctions.
