The Kazan Aviation Plant (KAZ, part of Rostec) will deliver the second Tu-214 passenger aircraft since 2022 in 2025, according to the "Tekhnosfera Rossiya" publication, citing sources.
The company, which is focused on building modernized Tu-160M "White Swan" aircraft, will send the Tu-214 to UVT Aero, or someone else — in June, Sogaz was mentioned.
Regarding another aircraft that was promised to be delivered in 2025, there is no exact information. It is likely that it will be transferred in 2026, and the operator will be the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In addition, deliveries of the Tu-214 to airlines are planned later in 2026, and UVT Aero is currently the first on this list. It should receive two aircraft instead of the previously contracted four.
At the same time, the Kazan Aviation Plant has committed to producing at least 10 Tu-214 aircraft per year, but has only built one aircraft so far.
