The "ChelyabinskSpetsGrazhdanStroy" (CSGS) plant has released the first batch of steel valves with polyurethane foam (PUF) insulation under the LD brand.
The new valves feature a unique design. It is a sandwich of a steel valve and a polyethylene shell, between which there is a heat-insulating filler made of polyurethane foam.
The outer layer provides anti-corrosion protection and protects the thermal insulation from moisture. The middle insulating layer is responsible for maintaining the temperature of the coolant and reducing heat loss.
The use of such valves in combination with pipes in PUF insulation, equipped with a system of operational remote monitoring (ODM), allows to increase the service life of heating networks and identify emergency situations on the highways.
The use of such valves in combination with insulated pipes will increase the service life of heating mains by 2-3 times. This technology also contributes to faster detection of emergency areas, which is especially important for the uninterrupted operation of urban heat supply.
The first samples of valves have already been sent to potential customers for testing in real conditions.
