Photos of a multi-purpose nuclear submarine of the Northern Fleet entering the Nikolskoye estuary in Severodvinsk have appeared online.

Military Russia noted that the likely candidate for arrival is the B-448 "Tambov" of project 671RTMK. The ship could arrive at the plant for two reasons

To carry out those PPO/PPR works that could not be carried out at the northern branch of Zvezdochka JSC - Nerpa, or to provide extended hydroacoustic tests of other Navy ships under construction/repair at Zvezdochka.

Journalists recalled that the B-448 "Tambov" is the last carrier of Granat sea-based cruise missiles, which became the "dad" for the high-precision Kalibr.
