Musical markings have appeared on the high-speed M-12 Vostok highway in the Vladimir region. It is designed to improve road safety. Drivers traveling from Moscow to Kazan can enjoy the melody "Kalinka-Malinka" on the 144 km of this highway.
The main goal of such a musical section is not entertainment at all. The markings help drivers not to fall asleep at the wheel, increase their attention and will contribute to the main task - reducing the number of accidents.
The first experience of introducing musical markings in Russia was carried out last year on the M-11 Neva highway. This year, Avtodor plans to add musical sections to 259 km in the Vladimir region and 412 km in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
