Russian and Chinese ships will replenish supplies and continue patrolling the Asia-Pacific region

A detachment of ships of the Russian Navy and the Chinese Navy, as part of the tasks of joint patrolling in the Asia-Pacific region, entered the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to replenish supplies. This was reported in the press service of the Pacific Fleet.

Large anti-submarine ship "Admiral Tributs"

The group includes the large anti-submarine ship (ASW) "Admiral Tributs" (Project 1155), the destroyer "Shaoxing" and the integrated supply ship "Qiandaohu", which stood at the roadstead in Avacha Bay.

Tasks of joint patrolling in the Asia-Pacific region:

  • strengthening naval cooperation
  • maintaining stability in the region
  • monitoring the water area
  • protection of marine economic activities
  • practicing joint maneuvering

Russian and Chinese ships have been patrolling since 2021. From August 1 to 5, they were involved in the "Maritime Interaction-2025" exercises.
