The Russian concern «Kalashnikov» held the Military Correspondents Cup in practical shooting in the Patriot Park near Moscow. The presentation of new weapons samples also took place there.
Journalists were shown for the first time the latest 7.62 mm Kalashnikov AK-15K (shortened) and AK-15SK (small-sized) assault rifles, and the 7.62 mm RPL-7 belt-fed machine gun.
Combat small arms, missile and artillery weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles, personal protective equipment and uniforms, and medical devices were also presented to the media representatives.
AK-15K is a version of the AK-15 assault rifle with a shortened barrel to improve ease of use and application in confined spaces.

AK-15SK is a version of the AK-15 assault rifle with a shortened barrel, a lightweight butt and reduced dimensions.

Also, as part of the competition, dynamic displays of the 7.62 mm Chukaev sniper rifle (SVCh) and the MR-155 shotgun took place. From the SVCh, sections with armored plates that are part of the KDH MSV Gen II Multicam body armor of the NATO standard, and the 6B45 (version 01) general-purpose body armor from Kalashnikov, were shot at from a distance of 10 m. The Russian development turned out to be more tenacious.
A flying kamikaze drone was hit with an MR-155 smoothbore shotgun. The weapon in a special version was developed to combat small drones. It is actively used by Russian military personnel.
