Превзошли финские аналоги: серийный выпуск импортозамещающей машины-амфибии наладили в компании «Верфер»

The machine runs on domestic AI-based software

Verfer Company (Ural Shipyard of Dredges and Small Vessels of the Technical Fleet LLC) has launched serial production of a universal amphibious complex designed for cleaning water bodies and deepening the bottom. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Industry of the Chelyabinsk Region.

The new complex surpasses foreign counterparts in a number of functions. It is a self-propelled floating machine with a unique design. The complex consists of three pontoons and is equipped with a folding rotary hydraulic boom and a pile driving device of a walking type at the stern. Front supports with floats allow working in shallow water and going ashore without a crane.

The complex has a replaceable set of working devices (excavator bucket, rakes for cleaning vegetation, and a submersible soil pump with a milling ripper). The main feature is software based on artificial intelligence. This increases the efficiency of hydraulic engineering works by more than 20%.

The operator can see the position of the machine and the soil intake device relative to the depth map. This approach allows you to accurately determine the areas where work has already been carried out.

Alexander Tolmachev, General Director of USZMF LLC, noted that previously Russian factories used similar complexes made in Finland. In response to growing demand, the plant has developed its own equipment.

It took seven years to implement the project. I believe that it will allow us to start forming a tradition and school for the design and manufacture of such vessels, and will arouse interest among the new generation of specialists in working on them.
Alexander Tolmachev, General Director of USZMF LLC

The first serial sample of the machine was delivered to the client. It is planned to produce three more units by the end of the year. Next year, the plant intends to increase production to 12 machines and develop an unmanned semi-automatic version. This will allow one operator to control several complexes simultaneously.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the production of dozens of chemical reagents for the production of chips will be established in Russia.
