The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS), in accordance with approved plans, are receiving modern and modernized models of weapons and military equipment, said First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces, Lieutenant General Alexander Maksimtsev.
According to him, there has been a significant update of the aircraft fleet and equipment of anti-missile defense units.
Industrial enterprises are constantly increasing the production rate of military aviation equipment; compared to 2015, they have increased 10 times and continue to grow.
The high-ranking military official emphasized that the Aerospace Forces are receiving the most demanded weapons and are fulfilling the tasks set by the Minister of Defense.
Earlier www1.ru reported that deliveries of parts for Superjets will increase by 2.5 times.
