New drone alert system being tested in Belgorod region

Doors open automatically and buses stop when an alarm is triggered

A new drone attack alert system has begun testing in the Belgorod region.

According to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, the signal will be launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and will include a voice message, then an audio message, and then a siren lasting one minute.

At the same time, doors in apartment buildings will automatically open and buses will stop. The cancellation of the threat will also be promptly communicated to residents.

A decision on full implementation will be made based on the results of testing at a meeting of the operational headquarters.
