Морской «Панцирь» научили сбивать противокорабельные ракеты

The modification of the SAM system for warships has been refined since 2021

The Pantsir-M anti-aircraft missile and artillery system (SAM) has been trained to shoot down anti-ship missiles. During tests of the new Karakurt small missile ships, the systems hit targets on the first try at a height of no more than five meters above the water.

SAM "Pantsir-M"

The naval modification of the "Pantsir" has been refined since 2021. The system could previously shoot down any targets, but low-flying ones with great difficulty. Now the updated SAM system can shoot down the entire range of targets - from missiles to small drones.

Military expert Dmitry Kornev noted that in terms of effectiveness, the "Pantsirs" are the most effective last-line defense systems. They can be installed not only on "Karakurts", but also on corvettes, frigates, landing and other new ships.

The Pantsir complex in the naval version is capable of being effectively used to provide anti-missile air defense for ships and vessels, and to create protection against modern models of foreign military equipment.

Earlier www1.ru reported that new shells with a cluster warhead have been developed for the most powerful MLRS.
