In June-July 2025, nearly 25% of applications for home internet connection were delayed by more than a month due to abnormally high demand triggered by mobile communication disruptions in some regions of Russia.
A record number of requests came from the Nizhny Novgorod region, Moscow, Smolensk, and St. Petersburg. At the same time, in a number of federal subjects, such as the Pskov and Tomsk regions, there were significant delays in the implementation of connections, reaching a month or more.
Telecom operators TTK, Megafon, and Rostelecom note an increased demand for home internet. In some regions, this figure has increased by 2-3 times compared to last year. In addition, sales of satellite internet in the country increased by 2.4 times in the second quarter.
