Patent images of a cab-over-engine cab for the next-generation "Ural" trucks have appeared online. They demonstrate an updated and modern design.
The cab frame is supposedly borrowed from a Chinese manufacturer. However, most of the exterior panels are original designs.
Judging by the presented images, the cab has an angular design with an increased glazing area, which significantly improves visibility for the driver. The interior space is expected to be more ergonomic, with an emphasis on convenience for long-distance transportation, which is an important aspect for professional drivers.
In March, the "Avtoreview" publication published a photograph of a prototype of the next-generation "Ural" road dump truck, reporting that the cab was manufactured at the Chinese Qixing plant, which produces various cab modules to customer orders.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the "Ural" automobile plant presented a shift bus and a truck-mounted aerial platform at COMvex-2025.
