Welding of a pilot batch of bodies for the new Sollers ST9 pickup, formerly known as JAC T9, has started at the UAZ plant. This stage is key in preparing for mass production, which will begin in the near future.
The Sollers ST9 pickup will be equipped with a 2-liter gasoline turbo engine, working in tandem with an 8-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive and a ground clearance of 210 mm provide excellent cross-country ability, making it ideal for operation in difficult conditions. The car's dimensions are 5.3 meters in length and 2 meters in width, and the dimensions of the cargo compartment are 1520 x 1590 x 470 mm, which allows transporting goods weighing up to 1 ton.
Inside the Sollers ST9 pickup, there is a leather interior with a multimedia system, including a 10.4-inch screen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interior is also equipped with a virtual instrument panel, dual-zone climate control and electric seat adjustment. Passenger safety is ensured by front and side airbags, side curtains and all-round cameras.
It is worth noting that the design of the Sollers ST9 uses solutions from the Japanese company Toyota. The model has common roots with the Toyota Hilux, and the frame and front suspension are unified with the Land Cruiser, which emphasizes the high quality and reliability of the new pickup.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the new Sollers ST9 SUV with Toyota roots was presented at SPIEF-2025.
