Currently, there are about 10,000 satellites in orbit, 7,000 of which belong to Starlink. The Russian group has 300 devices.

Bakanov said that in the next two years, Russia will deploy another 350 satellites in low orbit. This will almost double the current number. He noted that leadership in space is important for Russians.
