Российский Су-75 Checkmate привлёк внимание новой страны: Rafale F4 и F-35A постоят в сторонке

Serial production of the single-engine fighter may not begin until 2030

The Indian government plans to divide the procurement program of 114 fighters for the country's Armed Forces, implementing it on the basis of non-competitive intergovernmental agreements, rather than competitive procedures.

The leading contender in the rearmament program was initially considered to be the French fighter Dassault Rafale F4, however, it is planned to purchase only 60 Rafale F4s and about 60 fifth-generation fighters directly "from a foreign partner." Potential contenders are the American F-35A and the Russian Su-75 Checkmate.

Companies of the military-industrial complex of Russia and Belarus have already begun to explore the possibility of joint production of the latest Su-75 Checkmate fighters. However, serial production of the military aircraft may not begin until 2030.

The speed of the Checkmate will be from 1.8 to 2.0 Mach, the flight range will be up to 3000 km, the maximum combat load will be 7400 kg, the practical ceiling will be 16.5 km, and the maximum operational overload will be 8 units.
