AvtoVAZ has published a series of photos of the new Lada Iskra, including the sedan and cross-version of the wagon. A ginger cat accidentally or intentionally appeared in several shots, attracting the attention of users.
The company revealed details about the basic Comfort trim level. The price starts from 1,249,000 rubles. The standard equipment includes airbags, a stability control system, rain and light sensors, and telematics.
The sedan's length is 4333 mm, width is 1777 mm, and height is 1517 mm. Two 1.6-liter gasoline engines are available, producing 90 and 106 hp. The more powerful version works with a six-speed manual or a CVT.
During safety testing, Iskra received 4 stars according to the ARCAP methodology, which implies stricter standards. Sales of the model began on July 20 in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Tolyatti.
