The "Tuladron" Center will be among the top 10 UAS manufacturers in Russia and will be engaged in the development and testing of UAVs

In 2025, a scientific and production center for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) will begin operating in the Tula region. The project has received support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The "Tuladron" Center will become one of the largest in the country.

Governor Dmitry Milyaev announced that the center will be created as part of a federal project for the development and production of UAVs. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has allocated a subsidy for the purchase of equipment.

As part of the federal project "Development, Standardization and Serial Production of UAS and Components," a scientific and production center for UAS will be launched this year, which will become one of the 10 largest in the country and will ensure the development and production of various UAVs. In January 2025, the SPC UAS "Tuladron" received the status of a scientific and production center for testing and competencies in the field of UAS technology development from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. Following the federal selection for the purchase of equipment for the center, a targeted subsidy was allocated.

The industry of the Tula region is showing steady growth. At the end of 2024, the production index reached 109.6%. The volume of goods shipped increased by 27% compared to the previous year, and orders from machine-building enterprises doubled.

The region is consistently implementing measures to improve production efficiency. According to plans, by 2030, about 40% of medium and large enterprises in the non-resource sector will switch to the principles of lean production. This year, the implementation of eight projects to optimize production processes will be completed.
