First Batch of Lada Iskra Sold Out, AvtoVAZ Denies Recall Campaign Information

New Model in Demand, Dealers Accepting Orders for Next Batch

AvtoVAZ has officially confirmed that the first batch of the new Lada Iskra has been completely sold out. The company has denied rumors of an allegedly announced recall campaign.

Sales started on July 20 in dealerships in Tolyatti, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. Despite reports of car shortages in some dealerships and the inability to hand over paid cars to customers, the AvtoVAZ press service stated that this information is not true. Dealers are now taking orders for new deliveries.

It is noteworthy that although sales have started, mass industrial production of Lada Iskra is not planned to begin until the spring of 2026.

Lada Iskra stands out with its rear passenger seat belt warning system and improved aerodynamics compared to the Vesta model. The car is positioned between the top-end "Granta" and the base "Vesta", while real prices turned out to be lower than previously stated.
