Crews of Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun systems (SAM) monitor the airspace around the clock. The Ministry of Defense spoke about the advantages of the system.
The complex has 12 anti-aircraft missiles to destroy aerial targets. In addition, the complex is equipped with two twin-barreled 30 mm cannons with ammunition of 1,400 rounds.
The armament of the Pantsir-S SAM system allows engaging any air attack weapons within the established operating range.
The crews constantly change positions, and upon arriving at a new location, they are able to switch from standby to combat mode in 10 seconds.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that T-80BVM tanks stopped "flying": they began to be used in a new way.
