The amount of Tatneft's claims could become significant for JSC Tupolev and lead to a possible bankruptcy of the enterprise. Representatives of the company's side stated this in the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan.

At the court hearing, a representative of Tupolev also noted that the plaintiff incorrectly calculated the claim amount due to interest, which accounts for a third of the principal debt.

Tupolev's defense also provided evidence in court confirming the concern's unprofitability, including data on the size of the loan portfolio and accounts payable.

A representative of Tatneft responded that the defendant's debt burden was irrelevant to this dispute. The court took into account the arguments of the parties and partially satisfied the claim.

The Arbitration Court of Tatarstan partially satisfied the claim of Tatneft against Tupolev for more than 6 billion rubles, including penalties.

The company stated that the aircraft factory is ready to sign new contracts for Tu-214 airliners with delivery no earlier than 2027.
