The BagrOS 4000 real-time operating system was installed on fifth-generation combat aircraft

On-board digital computers (OBCs) in fighters are needed to automate and improve the efficiency of combat missions, as well as ensure flight safety.

The complex processes data from various sensors and aircraft systems, providing control, navigation, targeting and other critical functions.

The "Tekhnosfera Rossiya" publication reported that the Su-57 fighters use "BagrOS 4000", developed by PJSC "Sukhoi Company", as an operating system, optimized for multi-core processors and supporting the ARINC 653 standard.

At the same time, journalists noted that this information is current as of the end of the 2010s.

The Su-57 has since been seriously modified, including in terms of on-board electronics. Therefore, we do not know what OBCs are on it in 2025.

The OBC also monitors the operation of various aircraft systems, collecting data on their condition and warning the pilot of possible malfunctions or accidents.

Earlier www1.ru reported that MiG-31 fighters used hypersonic "Kinzhal" for the second time in three days.
