Scientific teams and students from Togliatti State University (TSU) have manufactured specialized technological tooling for AvtoVAZ painting lines. The development is being carried out as part of the work of the advanced engineering school "Hybrid and Combined Technologies" (PISh "HybridTech").
The tooling is being created for the Italian and Turkish lines installed at the enterprise and includes suspensions and transport trolleys for auto components. The work is taking place in the TSU Innovation and Technology Park.
The project aims to ensure the technological sovereignty of AvtoVAZ through the introduction of hybrid and combined technologies and is scheduled to run until 2026.
TSU emphasized that each car model requires individual tooling, taking into account the characteristics of materials and painting methods.
