The company "Communication Platform", a subsidiary of the VK holding, has officially received the status of being responsible for the operation and development of a multifunctional national information exchange service. This is reported on the website of the Russian government.
The service is built on the basis of the recently launched Max platform, which combines the functions of a messenger and digital services from the state and business. The entire infrastructure of the platform is located on the territory of Russia.
The order was adopted as part of the implementation of the Federal Law "On the creation of a multifunctional information exchange service", signed by the president in June 2025.
According to the Ministry of Digital Development, Max has more than 2 million users.
