Not Like in the West: AI with a Focus on Traditional Values to be Developed in Russia and Belarus

The development will focus on the cultural and moral principles of the two states

IT specialists from Russia and Belarus must create artificial intelligence that will be based on traditional values and will be understandable to residents of Belarus and Russia. This was stated by the State Secretary of the Union State, Sergei Glazyev.

According to him, artificial intelligence should not replace humans. Glazyev noted that a number of foreign AI services manipulate users' minds.

Recent examples of deep testing of Western-type AI have shown that one of the famous chats has fallen into racism, Nazism, and the glorification of fascism. We must be very careful about what values are embedded inside the AI; this is not immediately visible.

The Secretary of the Union State told reporters that it is necessary to develop a domestic AI that can be trusted, relied upon, and receive objective information. Glazyev emphasized that AI should take into account traditional values.
