The Kalashnikov Group (part of Rostec) has completed the supply of Vikhr-1 guided missiles under a state contract for 2025. The products were shipped to the customer in full, according to the delivery schedule.
Before being handed over, the missiles underwent control and flight tests, confirming full compliance with the contract requirements. The missile is designed to engage ground-based maneuvering armored vehicles equipped with dynamic protection blocks.
Thanks to the tandem HEAT warhead, which penetrates up to 800 mm of armor behind dynamic protection, the Vikhr is capable of knocking out any foreign tank.
In addition, the Ka-52 Alligator reconnaissance and attack helicopters, equipped with this missile with a tandem HEAT warhead, can destroy helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles, enemy fortifications, strongholds, firing points, and manpower. It is important to note that the complex effectively engages targets day and night and in limited adverse weather conditions.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that ODK will sharply increase the production of aircraft engines.
