The first cars may appear in dealerships not in July, but in August

Deliveries of the new Lada Iskra to AvtoVAZ dealerships have not yet begun. The exact dates have not yet been announced, said Alexey Podshchekoldin, President of ROAD. It was planned that sales of the cars would begin on July 20.

The first cars may arrive at dealerships not in July, as planned, but in August.

We have not yet received a single live car, and we also do not have delivery dates yet. They say that deliveries may begin in August, but, I repeat, there is no date yet. Some documentation for the Iskra from AvtoVAZ has already been received, and we, for our part, have begun training repairmen. By the way, I asked about prices for the Iskra a week ago, but I still haven't received an answer.

Lada Iskra is a new B-class model from AvtoVAZ, which should take a place between Lada Granta and Lada Vesta. It was created on the CMF-B platform, developed jointly with Renault. The lineup will include three body types: sedan, station wagon, and cross-station wagon with increased ground clearance up to 200 mm. The car will be offered with 1.6-liter engines with 90 and 106 horsepower, as well as with three gearboxes: a five-speed manual from AvtoVAZ, a six-speed manual Chinese, and a Chinese CVT. The approximate price is from 1.2 to 1.6 million rubles.

Earlier, insiders published the first image of the new Lada Iskra Sport. The car has a 1.8-liter engine, it is black, with dark alloy wheels and high-profile tires. There is a spoiler on the trunk lid.
