On July 2, 2025, Inspection No. 4 of the Federal Tax Service in Moscow filed a petition with the Arbitration Court to declare SR Space JSC bankrupt. The company, founded in 2020 by Oleg Mansurov, specializes in the development of ultra-light launch vehicles, small satellites, and software for the aerospace industry. The holding structure includes eight legal entities, including SR Rockets and SR Satellites.
Despite a 20% increase in revenue in 2024 (up to 53.8 million rubles), SR Space recorded a net loss of 154 million rubles. As of June 20, the company's accounts were blocked in four banks by decision of the Federal Tax Service. In April 2025, the company already faced a cash gap caused by delays in contract revenue.
The CEO of SR Space stated that the company is "in the process of attracting investment, which is why this lawsuit arose."
But there is no question of bankruptcy. Like many startups, the company has already faced a similar situation. The debt is about 5 million rubles and will be repaid in the coming month.
In 2024, SR Space conducted a pre-IPO, offering 10% of the capital for 1.5 billion rubles. The presentation for investors predicted revenue of 81.1 billion rubles by 2030. Mansurov owns 89% of the company's shares and previously announced plans to go public in 3–4 years.
