A modern canned goods production line has been launched at the KMB LLC enterprise in the Gergebil district of Dagestan. The grand opening took place at the end of June 2025.
Last year, the plant processed about one thousand tons of vegetables and fruits, and this year it is planned to increase the volume to two thousand tons. Thanks to the launch of the new line, the number of employees has increased to 50 people. During the harvest season, an additional 10 jobs will be created.
According to plant representatives, the expansion of production will not only increase the range of canned goods, but also improve the quality of products. To this end, new technologies have been introduced at the enterprise and modern equipment has been purchased. The plant's products are in demand not only in Dagestan, but also in other regions of Russia.
The launch of the new line is supported by local authorities as part of the food industry development program. This is an important step for the region's economy: the creation of new jobs and increased production help to support employment and develop the region's agriculture.
