"Ingosstrakh" was the first to use the digital ruble platform through the infrastructure of two commercial banks. Now the insurer can accept payments for insurance policies in digital currency.
At the moment, the company is the only one on the market that can process payments in digital rubles through two intermediaries. This unique experience opens up new opportunities to improve customer service and ensure uninterrupted operation of payment services for business.
Testing was successful: transactions with a universal QR code went smoothly, confirming the security and speed of payments. The company will continue to test the digital ruble, considering it an important step in the development of modern finance.
"Ingosstrakh" joined the digital ruble experiment in 2023 as a trade and service enterprise. At the same time, the company became the first in the insurance market to offer policies for travelers and accident insurance for digital money.
From July 2025, the Bank of Russia plans to launch widespread use of the digital ruble. This will be a unique electronic code that will be stored on the Central Bank platform. Transactions with the digital ruble can be carried out through regular banking applications.
