The crew of the rescue vessel "SS-750" of Project 141 of the Baltic Fleet conducted exercises to assist a conditionally distressed submarine lying on the seabed. This was reported in the Baltic Fleet.
To solve the task, the deep-sea rescue vehicle AS-26 was used from the vessel. Before launching, the crew of the "SS-750" searched for the submarine lying at a depth of about 60 meters. The "Kronshtadt" of Project 677 "Lada" of the Northern Fleet acted as a conditionally distressed submarine.
Rescuers conducted a visual inspection of the coaming platform of the "distressed" submarine, docked, and evacuated the crew members using a deep-sea vehicle.
Mine-sweeping ships, a corvette, support vessels, a diving boat, and a Ka-27 helicopter of the naval aviation of the Baltic Fleet also participated in the assistance exercise.
