FSUE Rosmorport has announced an auction for the repair of the icebreaker "Mudyug" in the port of St. Petersburg. The contract price is about 37.8 million rubles.
The contractor will prepare defect lists and repair the units and mechanisms of the "Mudyug". Applications are accepted until July 14, the results will be announced on July 21. Work must be completed no later than September 15.
The diesel-reduction icebreaker with a controllable pitch propeller was built in Finland in 1982 by order of the USSR. It was operated by the Murmansk Shipping Company, then in the port of Arkhangelsk, now the ship is assigned to St. Petersburg and belongs to FSUE Rosmorport.
