The Lada Azimut crossover, presented last week, is reliably protected against corrosion. This was stated by AvtoVAZ Product Director Oleg Grunenkov. He emphasized that the anti-corrosion characteristics of the new car may even be better than those of many Chinese models.
We galvanize all critical elements, including the roof — this is especially important, as the railings are attached there and mechanical stress is possible. Where it is really necessary, we have provided worthy anti-corrosion protection
Lada Azimut will begin production in 2026. The car will be equipped with 1.6 and 1.8 liter engines, and in the future will receive a 150-horsepower engine with an automatic transmission. How much the crossover will cost is unknown. Approximately, it will be more expensive than the current Lada models.
